A beautiful easy to make gateau for your BBQ party.
No cooking or baking just assemble, cool and enjoy.
1 Large chocolate cake
85 grams Mixed nuts.
Large tub of fresh whipping cream.
Small bar of dark chocolate peeled with a potato peeler.
Cup of black coffee cooled.
Line a large pudding basin with the cling film.
Cut the chocolate cake into as many slices as you can.
Cover the base of the pudding basin with a slice of the cake.
Add a little of the cold coffee.
Layer with some of the whipped cream.
Sprinkle a few nuts and chocolate shavings.
Repeat the layer of cake, coffee, cream, nuts and chocolate until finished, the last layer should be just the cake
(Reserve half of the whipped cream)
Cover the top of the pudding basin with cling film and put in the fridge overnight.
Next day turn the pudding basin upside down and remove the gateau, should be easy and remove the cling film.
Cover the gateau with the remaining whipped cream and decorate with chocolate shavings.
Your party gateau is now ready to serve.
