The maximum gap between the walls for fitting this rotisserie is 88cm. Smaller widths are OK but will result in over hang of the spit rod (see above photo)

Super Quite 4 Watt Mains Motor with auto reverse.

5mm Spit Rod 115cm (incl motor)

Spit Rod Handle

Small Rotisserie forks

Spit Rod Turning Sleeve

2 Fixing Plates, wall plugs and screws.

Fix plate to wall make sure you allow enough space to fit motor.

Fix plates toward the front of the BBQ to allow the majority of the charcoal to be placed at rear.

Fix 2nd plate to wall a couple of degrees leaning towards rear of bbq.

This keeps the spit in place when operating.

Make sure the spit rod is level with the spit sleeve in place during fixing of the plates

Attach motor to plate and spit rod and test

Clean up and wash spit rod. add hot charcoal to charcoal tray from a charcoal starter.

Insert meat onto spit rod and secure using forks.

Assemble onto BBQ

Allow 3 to 4 hours for a Joint of meat or chicken.

You can use a cooking thermometer to make sure meat is cooked.

Enjoy superb crackling

Tips

Purchase long rolled joints of meat like rolled pork or beef. They cook evenly and are more stable on the rotisserie.

Start with small joints or chickens and practice before you invite friends to your BBQ.

Insert the spit rod into the centre of your chicken or joint of meat.

Do not overload the spit rod. (5lb max)

Do not use on wet or windy days.
