![]() It's more fun if you make your own kebabs |
If you want to make kebabs the golden rule is make sure you slice or cube everything you plan to use the same size, so that your kebab cooks evenly. These can be prepared well in advance and stored in the fridge for a few hours. When complete, season, drizzle or brush a little olive oil over the kebabs and cook over medium heat directly over the coals until tender. |
You have to turn the kebabs every few minutes to avoid charring use an oven glove or tongs, metal skewers can get very hot. Any flames or flare up's, just move the kebabs to the side of the BBQ grill. |
You can buy Kebabs ready made in the supermarket The shopping list can be purchased from a fruit and veg shop, no butcher required. Meat kebabs below:

Pork n Pepper Kebabs That's more like it! Purchase ready diced pork from your butcher, when you prepare your skewer, alternate pork with sliced pepper . Try wooden skewers but remember to soak them in water for an hour first, this will stop them burning on the barbecue. |
