Barbecue Corn on the cob
 

 

Healthy starter for kids.

Method

  Remove from the barbecue and add a knob of butter to each cob and serve.

Eat from the silver foil using paper serviettes to protect fingers from the heat.

If you have more guests split the cobs into 2 using an heavy chopping knife before wrapping onto the foil.

Wash the cobs under a little cold water, dry and carefully wrap in a double layer of silver foil.

You can place the cobs on to the barbecue around the edge of the grill. You can do this before the charcoal is ready for cooking    because the cobs are protected by the silver foil. Cook for 20 minutes over a low heat (10 minutes over a medium heat) turning occasionally.
